Current Positions:

Process Engineer

Description:
The Process Engineer - Chemical will work with an experienced multi-disciplinary staff to design, construct, test, and start-up commercial gas processing systems. S/he will be responsible for the engineering design of gas processing and compressor systems. S/he will work with mechanical, electrical, and control groups within the company to advance the design from the business development stage to the production stage. S/he will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control colleagues to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of the manufactured systems.

Capabilities:
  • Develop process flow diagrams (PFD’s) and heat and material balances.
  • Size and specify process equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, separators, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets and performance sheets.
  • Work with vendors to develop quality fabricated equipment and commodity components.
  • Prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s).
  • Perform capital cost, utility, and trade-off analyses.
  • Participate in risk assessments, including hazards analyses.
  • Technical writing to provide proposal support.
  • Lead design reviews as well as configuration management teams.
  • Work with the Operations/Production team as factory test and fabrication support.
  • Ability to participate in field commissioning and testing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written.
